Jas Boothe, President and Founder of Final Salute Inc., has served over 11 years in the United States Army. Jas has achieved the rank of Captain and is currently serving as a Human Resources Officer in the United States Army National Guard. Jas was also deployed during the OIF/OEF campaigns. The bulk of her military career has been working with and advocating for soldiers and their family members.

In August of 2005, while serving our country, Jas and her son lost everything they owned to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. One month after having her world obliterated by one of the worst natural disasters to affect the United States, Jas was diagnosed with cancer and began a six-month treatment regiment at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. After a successful battle with cancer, Jas opted out of a discharge in order that she may continue serving her country, and more personally, to stand up against the devastation she saw in the eyes of those wounded soldiers she had encountered during her fight.

Jas was recently chosen as a panelist for W.o.W (Women of the World) Baltimore and the upcoming National Coalition of Homeless Veterans Annual Conference  for her best practices working with female veterans.

She has also ventured into motivational speaking (by popular demand) and will introduce her presentation “P.I.E (Passion into Execution),” on April 20th, during the WBIS Powerful Partners Conference.

She will also be featured in Smart CEO’s “Leaders We Admire” editorial this May.

Jas founded the Ms. Veteran America Pageant as a way to introduce grace, beauty, poise and talents that are not usually associated with women in military service. The theme of this event is “The Woman Beyond The Uniform”.

Jas is also the mother of two boys and wife to a former Marine combat veteran.

She holds dual MAs in Human Resource Management and Management and Leadership from Webster University.
